I apologize to anyone who read my last post. geez, even I look at the length and change my mind about rereading it. It wasn't so bad when it was 10 inches wide and black words on a white background. You know, not to mention the whiny-ness, the details about everyone else's lives (people about whom you care very little to none), and my super-moodiness. I can't say I'm feeling better, as I am still hitting funks like that now and then throughout my days. But I was only awake for somewhere around 6 or 7 hours yesterday. I mean, I went to bed at 7am, woke up at 6:30 pm, napped from midnight to 12:30, got up and did some dishes, then went to sleep for the night at 1. and woke up for work this morning, feeling refreshed... and unable to jump out of bed to start my day because my little bro was in the shower. grr! I think I'm falling back on bad habits, i.e. believing I can somehow manage to avoid breaking a committment (and thereby disappointing) all of the various people in my life, some of whom I associate with on a level equivalent to that of people I meet at a stop sign and wave across in front of me. And yet by putting these people on the same level as the people near and dear to my heart (if not my body), I am, in effect, lowering said people to the previously mentioned, and insignificant, level. Not my intention, and something I need to avoid in the future. So, letting you (love) know, I will try my best to properly prioritize my calendar: my job, my love, my job search, my family, my friends, my dance organization, my youth ministry stuff, my dancing, my READING (this is a reminder to You, David), and my gaming. And David, only one gaming friend comes ahead of reading. And she knows she's less important than a good book. She'd do (and has done) the same to you. Speaking of which, neither of my dance partners wanted to borrow Hyperion, out of the many I took to lend them. So I get to re-read it. Yay! Laters, blog-meister and adoring (or happenstance) fans.
